Description
The reverse osmosis treatment system is a procedure that reverses the natural osmosis process, a natural process whose diluted solutions are concentrated through semi-porous membranes.
Reverse osmosis consists of applying higher pressure than osmosis pressure and causing a reverse flow of semi-permeable membrane and promoted separation of salts and solids dissolved in the water.
This process is promoted by a membrane composed of synthetic material that acts as a barrier against the minerals dissolved, but at the same time highly permeable in water.
