Description

The D series automatic softening systems eliminate hardness in the water caused by the presence of calcium and magnesium ions using an ionic exchange process.

In the D series, the “hard” water percolates through the columns containing a cation exchanger resin in sodium form, treating the calcium and magnesium ions and releasing sodium ions.

Once the exchange capacity of the resin in the first column has ended, this is regenerated using salt water and the second column starts to work.

The D series allows continuous supply of softened water over 24 hours.
